ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Despite promises from civil rights protesters to disrupt the football game at the Edward Jones Dome on Sunday, a rally did not materialize.

City police say there were no arrests.

Several protestors did turn out at Busch Stadium for last night’s ballgame. Police followed the protesters on bicycles and on foot and say there were no arrests at Busch Stadium.

However, in North County, police say three people were arrested Saturday while protesting the fatal police shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown in Ferguson.

The Post-Dispatch reports that about 35 people were near the Ferguson police station Saturday when a protester said he was bumped by a passing vehicle.

Ferguson Police Chief Thomas Jackson says the driver was arrested, along with a protester who damaged the man’s car. A third man was taken into custody when he ignored police orders to get out of the way.

Jackson says no one reported any injuries. But some protesters alleged on social media that some of them were hurt and criticized police for not calling ambulances for them.

After the arrests, the crowd of protesters grew for a time, some traffic was blocked and the protest broke up.
